The When I Grow Up Project: NBC’s New Higher Education Initiative (Colombia)

We are proud to announce our latest project in collboration with the Peace Corps- Colombia of getting more low-income students into college. There are many talented young students who dream of being college graduates and professionals when they grow up. However, the cost of test prep classes, entrance exams fees, and tuition prevent these great students from getting into great universities. Too often, their dreams are taken away. Yet, we can stop the cycle of poverty and let children know that when they grow up, they will be able to  proudly work and take care of their families.
